Chest Hair Removal - How to Wax Chest Hair?

Make sure your hair is the appropriate length for waxing once you have everything you need and have cleansed your hands. It must be at least a quarter inch long, but not more than a half inch. Use proper hair clippers if it is longer than that to ensure an even trim.

First, wax your chest with soap, make sure it is dry, and then use a cotton pad to apply your pre-wax cleanser.

Next, apply the wax evenly in the direction of hair development in a few tiny portions using a form of flat wood or even a popsicle stick. While the wax should completely cover the hair, it shouldn’t be too thick.

To start, use a firm wax to pry open more of the chest. To access a big space like the chest, hard wax is always more convenient. Switch to a soft wax and cover bigger portions of the chest once you’ve finished a few hard wax sections, constantly maintaining the spatula at a 90-degree angle and on the border of the skin. Make the skin tight while applying a nice, firm stroke to large sections before pulling. Turn your strip over, then carry on. 

Post Waxing Clean Up Tips

Finally, “press and pull” one strip across the entire breast to remove any remaining stickiness and check for any hairs you may have missed. Apply a cooling lavender lotion next, then reapply some jasmine oil to take care of any remaining stickiness while firmly wiping with a new strip. Add some post-wax essential oil if this is the patient’s first time getting their chest hair waxed. After that, use a blemish-controlling product (chest breakouts are common) and a post-wax soothing lotion to reduce the redness of the skin. 

Pro Tip: Make sure they leave with a product to prevent blemishes. No matter how much or how little hair a person has, the chest is one of the most prevalent places for post-wax breakouts. For at least four days, and for as long as there are breakouts, have them apply it morning and night. They will be able to minimize acne outbreaks as a result of this.
